Stain on Marble tile

What can I clean my marble tile wall in the bathroom that was spray with a Mr. clean spray and now has spots all over?
Well, your marble tile is not stained, but etched.
You need to have the marble tile honed and polished to remove the etch marks.
We see this all the time, where a cleaner that is not safe to use on marble, is used and etches the marble.
What happened was the chemical used was most likely slightly acidic and the acid reacted with the calcium in the marble, creating the chemical reaction.
The result of the chemical reaction was the calcium was eaten away and the etch mark is created.
If the etch mark is too deep, the area needs to be honed, which is a wet sanding process to remove the etch mark.
I would call a stone professional in your area to find out what the cost will be to fix your marble tile.
If the etch mark is light enough, the stone professional may get away with just polishing, which is the last step in the restoration process.
It's hard to say exactly what's needed without seeing the damage area in person.
I hope this information helps.
