Limestone cleaner for kitchen back splash especially above the stove area.

We selected a beautiful limestone tile as our kitchen backsplash.

However, there is an area of backsplash over and behind the stove, and having cooked for the first time since our remodel, I now have several spatters of grease that I can not seem to remove.

Please recommend a cleaner for this to me.

Hi Vivian,

I would try using our MB-5 Marble, Granite and More Cleaner for you countertops and your limestone backsplash.

It is an alkaline cleaner, that should cut the grease splatter on your limestone.

If this cleaner doesn't work, it is possible, that the limestone etched.

I don't think this happened, but if the splatter marks don't come out it either etched or stained the limestone.

I would try our cleaner first and if it still doesn't come out, I would look for a stone restoration professional in your area to come take a look at it.
