Hulled Limestone
When my limestone flooring was installed, Tile Lab sealant and then finisher was used.
I've since found it is a topical product that shows every scuff mark, etc.
I want to remove the sealant and finisher and reseal. Would the MB Stone Care MB-1 floor cleaner take up the products mentioned?
If so, what do you recommend as a sealer once the job is completed?
Thank you in advance for any information you can supply.

Hi Kathleen,
What you need to do is strip the coating or topical off your limestone.
MB-1 will not do the job. You need to call the company of the finish you used to find out what they recommend to strip.
It will most likely be a stripper that is very alkaline and it may etch your limestone floor.
If it does etch the floor, you may have to have it restored by diamond re-finishing and polishing.
I would have a professional natural stone person look at the floor, so you can get an estimate on what this will cost.
You can strip the floor yourself, but I don't think you can diamond polish it. Stripping yourself, will help the cost.
I hope this information helps.
