how to remove wooden tile adersivr from terrazzo flors

I removed parquet tiles from the floor only to find terrazzo floors beneath. I would like to restore the original floors. How do I remove the tile adhesive without damaging the terrazzo floors?
Hi Mickie,
I would use a floor stripper and 3 inch razors to remove the adhesive from the terrazzo floor.
If you'd like to restore the terrazzo floor, you will need diamond polishing pads and a floor machine to begin the restoration/refinishing process.
Also, depending on the finish you desire, you will need to know how you are going to do the final polish on the terrazzo floor.
There are several final polishing techniques, depending on what you desire and what your equipment will allow you to do.
One thing to keep in mind is the terrazzo floor is most likely 30-50 years old and it will never be a new floor, even after refinishing.
You may still have stains from glue, adhesive or carpet and carpet pad dyes.
If you have any questions or would like us to help with terrazzo floor refinishing, give me a call at 727-307-1717.
We'd love to help you restoring your terrazzo floor.
I hope this helps.
