white viniger spilled on tile
(easton, pa. usa)
I spilled white vineger on beautiful tile floor. now there's a big ugly dull spot there. what can i do?
If the tile is marble or some other calcium based stone, like limestone or travertine, the tile can be restored.
It's best done by a professional. What the stone professional needs to do is hone and polish the tile.
Honing is the process of removing a layer of the stone, with diamond polishing pads.
The process can be done to the damaged tiles or the whole floor. Of course the whole floor will cost more, but if the marble tile was laid down a while ago, it may need to be restored.
Do a google search for stone restoration or marble polishing in Easton, PA.
You will find someone, as etching of marble tile is quite common.
