Can I use your soap scum cleaner on my travertine shower tiles? They have heavy soap scum buildup:(
Yes you can use the the soap scum remover we sell on our website on your travertine tile.
That's exactly what it's made for. It's safe for marble, travertine, limestone and all other stone surfaces.
You may have to assist the cleaner as it really only loosens the soap scum.
What we do when cleaning soap scum from stone showers is wet the tile and keep it wet for 10 minutes or so.
Then we use scrapers or 3" razor blades to scrape the soap scum off the tile. Then we wet again with the soap scum remover and scrub with a pad and a brush for the grout lines.
It's a tedious process, but the soap scum remover does help tremendously.
Good luck, and don't forget to seal once you have all the soap scum off. We sell the impregnating sealer too.
