The marble sealer you choose for your polished marble, travertine, terrazzo or limestone surfaces does make a difference.
MB-4 Stone and More Impregnator/Sealer
Of course you want to use the best sealer for the best price.
This is hard information to come by since you can't
just buy 4 or 5 stone sealers and test which one works best.
Well this something that I've done and continue to do.
Not all stone and grout sealers are created equal and before I get ahead of myself let me state
why we seal natural stone and grout in the first place.
All natural stone, whether if it's granite, marble, travertine, limestone, etc., and that includes grout is porous.
Using a penetrating or impregnating sealer will help clog the pores of the stone and grout, thus reducing
it's ability to absorb stains.
Remember no stone sealer will make your marble, travertine or limestone completely water-proof, but
using a good sealer will help protect from potential staining.
Even with the best sealer on earth, you're still going to have to take care of your natural stone
and grout surface and clean up any spills that can potentially stain in a timely manner.
The best sealer for polished marble, travertine and limestone that we'e found is MB-4 Impregnating Sealer.
This sealer uses fluoropolymer technology for it's sealing agent, which most professionals in the
industry agree works best for sealing marble, and the other natural stones.
From my own tests on different polished stone, I have found MB-4 works the best from all the
store bought natural stone sealers I've tested.
MB-4 is also a great grout sealer, so it will work great on the grout of your ceramic or porcelain tile.
