Is Ceramic Tile Sealable ?
by Brian Kmetz
I was told ceramic and porcelain tiles were not sealable, only the grout lines yet you have a sealer on here that says it seals ceramic tile?
Ceramic and porcelain tiles in most cases will not take a seal. They just don't allow for the seal to penetrate.
There are some tiles like quarry tiles or clay tiles that will accept a sealer, but most ceramic and porcelain tiles are pretty dense.
As for our products, we do sell a sealer that works great on grout, but if I said it's for ceramic tile, I meant to say it's for the grout on ceramic and porcelain tile.
I hope this helps.
