do I need to seal my new granite counters before using the mb-5 cleaner and polish or will these two together replace the need for sealing. Thank you,
My recommendation would be to seal your granite countertops as soon as you can, especially if they're a lighter color granite.
Usually, the lighter the color of granite, the more porous they can be and if stained, can be more easily seen.
If they are a darker granite, they most likely are more dense, or less porous.
Either way, I would seal them with a penetrating sealer. Be sure not to let any sealer dry on the surface.
Once the sealer dries on the surface, it will need to be re-activated with the sealer to be removed.
I hope this information helps.
