does polish marble need sealing

A company installed polished marble in my house and when they finish a lot of dry surface appeared on the marble. They tried to clean it but it didn't seem to work, so they came again and sealed.
The marble does not look the same as when I bought it. What should I do?
I don't know exactly what happen, but I see this from time to time.
Sometimes the installer when he was grouting left the grout on too long and it etched the floor.
The dryness is probably grout haze left from the grout residue.
Sometimes I see if they used an epoxy grout, the grout if left on the surface too long, will also etch the marble.
You may need to have the floor honed and polished to get it to look like it did when you bought it.
Call a stone professional to come look at the floor. I can't diagnose from here, so you need someone who can restore marble to come look at the floor.
I hope this helps.
