Cleaning Marble Shower
Cleaning marble showers and sealing them is something you should be doing at least once a year. All that water in an unventilated space is the perfect place for mildew and fungus to grow and of course soap scum doesn't clean easily.
For us the biggest challenges with cleaning marble showers, is the soap scum build-up. We use soap scum removers to help us dissolve the soap scum.
Our recommendation for keeping a marble shower clean is to use a squeegie to wipe down your marble surface after each use.
Also, if the marble shower does not receive good venilation and mildew begins to grow, it might be a good idea to use a mildew remover. You can also spray some diluted bleach on the mildew to kill the mildew.
If a diluted bleach solution is used, be sure to rinse with water and always test in an inconspicuous area before using.
It's not hard to clean your marble shower and if you keep it sealed properly, you shouldn't have to worry about unwanted stains. If you aren't sure if the cleaner is marble safe, test in an inconspicuous area before applying to the marble surfaces.
