Cleaning Marble Floors
Cleaning marble floors is not as hard as you think, and you shouldn't be afraid of them. First of all find a pH neutral cleaner that is for natural stone. You can find one at a local tile store or on the internet.
If you don't have a marble safe neutral cleaner, use hot or warm water to mop the marble without any cleaner at all. If it's a large area, mop small areas at a time and be sure to dry the floor right away.
Drying with a micro fiber or cotton cloth will clean up any dirt that will not evaporate with the water. This is a very important step most people don't do and will help keep your marble floor looking great.
If your marble floor requires a deeper cleaning or the grout lines are looking a little dirty, mop on your neutral cleaner and allow to dwell for about 10-15 minutes and scrub with a bristle brush.
After scrubbing, mop up the dirty solution and rinse with hot water. Now dry the floor with a cotton or microfiber cloth.
You can also try cleaning the marble floor with an akaline cleaner, but be sure to do a test area first before cleaning the entire floor.
